Great pics! For me everything works here. Right composition, great use of rule of thirds
and bright bold colours.
Wish I’d taken them lol.
Nice work. Dale

I like the first one the most. I would just maybe move the frame a bit to the left with fireworks in the rule of third, since you have a buildings on the left and just darkness on the right.

I really like it nice job! I agree with Oksana about the framing of the shots. Also looking at the third photo you probably shot this hand held the lights on the buildings show a bit of motion, using tripod for night photography or long exposures will give you much better results.

You are right guys, I had to break the rules on these because of some difficulties setting our tripod. We are on the ledge of rip-rap rocks beside the sea shore, and i dont have time the luxury to set my tripod and camera coz we’ve got there already in the middle of the event so I had to rushed setting my camera as fast as I could, worrying that the event will be over soon. I have to break the rules than missing these shoots.

Camera setting: f/11, 5 sec, ISO 400 (for the 3 photos)

thanks VIC.L, I used tripod but I had to break the rule of third because I cannot position it right because we are on the rip-rap hedge and too much croud watching beside us. and one more thing its because we are on a rush……
