It looks HOT… I imagine it was.

on the first image,  the post processing was a little bit over the top  because i just wanted red and orange color contrast. The second one was taken at sunset (typically 70-80 deg F) in december . The first two were taken at 200 mm focal length and f-stop of 5.6 & 7. The third shot was taken with a 35 mm lens f8.

Some great shots, Rama.
Thanks for the added information.
I’m assuming that the 35mm is a prime.
I use the Nikon D5100.  I’ve two primes, the 35mm 1.8 and 50mm 1.8.
Its amazing how different it is when shooting with a fast and fixed lens.  As you know.

Fantastic colours in these images! Impressive how you managed to control the sunlight
blowing out the shots. Lots of post processing?
Really nice stuff.
Dale.

Thanks Mandrake. I own a nifty-fifty but don’t have a 35 mm prime. Sigma 18-35 F 1.8 is as good as a prime. the last picture you refer to was shot with that

Dale,

Thanks for your feedback. As i said in my previous post, the first image was heavily post processed and  the other two were post processed but not changed dramatically.
