Thanks for your feedback. As i said in my previous post, the first image was heavily post processed and  the other two were post processed but not changed dramatically.

I'm assuming that the 35mm is a prime.
I use the Nikon D5100.  I've two primes, the 35mm 1.8 and 50mm 1.8.
Its amazing how different it is when shooting with a fast and fixed lens.  As you know.

Thanks Mandrake. I own a nifty-fifty but don't have a 35 mm prime. Sigma 18-35 F 1.8 is as good as a prime. the last picture you refer to was shot with that
