I did take a lot of photographs. 237 during this game. All in single shot, single point focus.
I really do have to get comfortable with continuous focus in burst mode for sports photography.
Jacob’s football season starts shortly, so I’m determined to learn.

My son was the same way… always the smallest on the field. He played high school JV soccer in 7th grade when he was 4’10” tall against 6+ foot 10th and 11th graders. Was a little nerve racking, but luckily he didn’t get hurt. He’s grown a lot in the past two years (now 5’8″) and we can no longer just spot him on the field by looking for the smallest kid.

Grandkids are the only way to go – before you get sick of them you can give them
back to the owners lol!
Hope to have some of our own one day – why should our kids not know what suffering
is like we went through!!!
Only kidding – I doubt you could ever get tired of Samantha Mandrake…and our two sons
were no trouble at all..they’re both adults now but still drop by all the time just to say hi
and see what’s new. By the way – Victoria has so many damned rules about flying a quad copter
that Chris has just about given up on it. Almost no areas that he is permitted to fly unless he heads
a long way out of the city.
