These two were taken on my D7000 with a 28-300mm Lens on a wet and wild afternoon at Sunset.
I slightly emphasised with Lightroom 3.

Pic 1: f/6.3, 1/2500, ISO 200

Pic 2: f/5.6, 1/400, ISO 100

I like the first shot but second one is also nice…
Have you increased the contrast in the post production??
Bcz in both the shots, i see more of black than the normal silhouette shots…
But still they are very well composed!!!Smile

yep, increased the contrast to light up the pics and provide mainly black silhouettes.
I was happy with the sharpness of the blacks and the brilliant yellow/gold look.

Interesting… I see that this is the same location from which you shot the Birds Traveling Home photo.
Were they the same birds as depicted here?

Yes, this was about 10 minutes before they all packed up and left for home…
It was a tossup between this and the one with the flights in it.
