shutter priority 1/30 sec and tried to follow the car from left to right to create the background blur.

Great panning Rama! It is not the easiest shoot to do. How many pics did you had to take to get this one? 

Are you sure it is Mini Cuper? Looks more like vw beetle.

Thanks Oksana. Yes it’s indeed the Beetle. I took about 20 shots. i started with a shutter speed of 1/60 secs and slowed to 1/30 sec as i was not happy with the background blur.

Actually, I don’t think it is a mini or a VW…  it is a Citroen 2cv.

I forgot to mention that your focus should be AI servo( canon term for continuous tracking) and  shooting mode  continuous . Basically, start clicking the moment the car enters the frame with a gentle movement until it leaves the frame.
