This locomotive is located in a local park by my house, It has a 6 foot cyclone fence around it topped with barbed wire I had to hold my camera above my head and stay as still as possible as I was taking bracketed images. I was surprised I got a good one out of the bunch.train2-2.jpg

Very cool shot, Otto.
While there is some blurring in the area of the coupling rods, either through camera shake or slight misalignment of the images,
it gives the impression that the locomotive is actually moving.  Couldn’t do it if you tried!

I also like the composition.  Great perspective as well.

Well, now I am confused.  I found this in Hewitt Park, but it’s Georgia Pacific #1 not Western Pacific #Engine-1.JPG164.
Does Oroville have TWO steam locomotives?

Nevermind… I figured it out.  Oroville does have two.
And both in Hewitt Park.  Had me going for awhile.
