Went for a walk and took my camera (of course!)
Nothing special – just random things that I see every
day at this time of year.DSC_3917.jpgDSC_3930.jpgDSC_3945-2.jpgDSC_3992.jpgDSC_4064.jpgDSC_4135.jpgDSC_3895.jpg

Victoria looks like a fun place to be.

I would ride Harry the Hippo.

Are the two little wheels in the back to prevent Harry from tipping over?

I’d stay clear of Mr. Squirrel.  He looks mean.

Nice pics Dale,

I have never been to Victoria, let alone BC, but it sure looks nice.

That squirrel looks badass….I would totally steer clear of him, especially if he is on the warpath for food.  I really like the pier shot and the horse and carraige.

Awesome.

Harry the Hippo is one of many buses that think they’re

boats – personally I think they’re all accidents waiting to

happen (in deep water) but we’ll see.

The little wheels in the back prevent the bus from angling back

too far on steep inclines that could damage the propeller (I think).

Squirrels around here are too damned friendly – I have learned not

to feed them peanuts after having one chomp on my finger once! Those

damned things have sharp teeth and don’t let go until you shake them off!

Brian – The shots I take of Victoria are exactly what Victoria is…a beautiful,

but expensive place to live that attracts huge amounts of tourists every spring and summer.

We used to get more of our neighbours from the USA but the our dollar is so strong

now that it costs them a lot more to come up and stay here. I say we cut them a deal lol!!!

Dale.
