Weekly Edit 43.  You can download dng image here:

Please post your edited Jpegs in comments below. Don’t create separate post.

It also would be great if you post what software you used to edit the image and maybe even some info on how you edited it, if you like. It can even be a screenshot of your adjustment.

Have fun!

I like your edit, Michael. I think a panoramic image is a good idea.

I had to google it, so I guess I don’t remember:

“CinemaScope is an anamorphic lens series used, from 1953 to 1967, for shooting widescreen movies. Its creation in 1953 by Spyros P. Skouras, the president of 20th Century Fox, marked the beginning of the modern anamorphic format in both principal photography and movie projection.”

Thanks Oksana.

One thing that may be cool is after a week or so for you to post an “edit from the professional” of what you did to the photo… just a thought.

Great idea! I’ll do that. But you guys are doing so great with it. I can call you “a pro” 😉

This would be my edit. I realy pushed it hard 2 stops + in the shadows aria. Yes, it does has noice and starts to loose sharpness, but it is still amazing how much flexibility we have. And this is just from entry level DSLR Nikon 5300.
