i did not plan to shoot this scene. but the sunset sky was interesting and i took this picture with my EOS 60D camera . F11 1/13 secs, iso 400,18 mm focal length ( sigma 18-35 f 1.8 lens)

Dear all,

Thanks for the nice comments. This was shot in sharjah(a city close to Dubai) and yes it’s called qasba, which in arabic means canal.  As i was shooting with a lens that did not have image stabilization, I had to rest my camera on a ledge along the pedestrian bridge .  I have found the sigma lens to be extremely good for cropped sensor cameras though.
