Link to a short Youtube video showing the quad copter over one of the beaches and
surrounding area here in Victoria.
Will refine production quality as we get more flying and video time lol!

Dale… That was really, really good.  Love the music too.  You certainly do have a great new toy.
I’d suggest that anyone looking at the video boost YouTube settings up to 1080p and click on full screen.

Nice job… Great flying… and we want more.

Mandrake
Really appreciate your positive feedback! I’ll be sure and relay it to our son (the pilot).
Hoping to get to more locations soon to get some better footage. It really is an
amazing little machine. Would love to get some areal shots over our Parliament Buildings
but I think that may be off limits due to tourists in the area and the fact that occasionally
these copters just fall from the sky with no notice. Very rare but if the damned thing dropped
from a thousand feet or so and hit somebody on the head that would be game, set and match
for us and the tourist lol!
Will let you guys know when we get some more footage from Victoria.
Dale.

wow, nice video and toy Dale :) can you control the camera separately or it’s the RC being tilted up & down?

mscharff – Great weather here in Victoria now so hoping to take some more videos
soon. I let my son do the flying and I go along to watch the fun!
ergig – I havent asked Chris (our son) how much control he has of the camera but
I do know that it’s a fairly complex system and he’s still getting used to how it operates.
The range on it is huge – I start to worry a little when it’s completely out of sight and we
can no longer hear the noise it makes. It does have a system built in though that returns
it to a pre-set base if the operator totally loses it. Works on GPS and is really reliable (so far).
Thought about flying it over our Parliament Buildings but decided that might not be a really good
idea due to the security there.
Dale.
