My wife and I spent the day on top Table Mountain an ancient lava flow above Oroville Ca.  Here are a few images I took there.TM14.jpgTM1.jpgTM2.jpgTM3.jpgTM5.jpgTM6.jpgTM7.jpgTM8.jpgTM9.jpgTM10.jpgTM12.jpgTM13.jpg

A very interesting set of photos.
I would love to see the group presented in a gallery so as to fully experience their somewhat unique style.
What is it that you’re doing in post to give this particular look?
I would think that these are all HDR images with considerable sharpening.  Is that the case?

The post was done with the standard lightroom settings, I did not intentionally try to achieve  HDR images.

The clouds were wonderful that day amazing, I metered the sky then took the shots, worked very well as you can see. I also went 1/2 stop under and took care of the foreground in light room.

Have to agree with Mandrake – really does look like some HDR snuck in lol.
But if the sky did look like that and the colours were that intense you really picked
a great day to go out and take some pictures.
Good luck and hope you get some more days like this one.
Dale.

Yes… the clouds look great… the look so good, I’d keep them in mind for other shots in the future when the sky is not so dramatic

Interesting shots. You are very lucky to get the  clouds on that day… we(UAE people) to wait until november to get this kind of sky
