So tired aftera hectic day, so I just decided to take some long exposure night photos this evening. I used Nikon D5100 with a kit lens 18-55mm.
The first photo: ISO 100, F13, 58 seconds, 18mm focal length
The second photo: ISO 100, F10, 59 seconds, 18mm
The third photo: ISO 100, F11, 30 seconds, 18mm

I really like the first one, but as you opened up the aperture it seems to get a little harder on the eyes, a bit blown out.
I do like the wider view of the second 2 maybe little less exposure would have cut the brightness some.
Thanks fer sharin!

Thanks Wizpc for your feedback. I touched the 3rd picture a bit in photoshop out of fear that it was under exposed unknown to me that I actually damaged the image. The other 2 photos didn’t go through any post processing apart from resizing.

I like the second picture but i think the people sitting there are little distracting , and i would have took the whole building into the picture (the building’s upper part seems like its cut out)…but great shot though!!

deensani;
Great shot, to me the first and second are very good shot even with the people there other wise you need an extra-time when people go to sleep. Beside almost not noise.
Perhaps with more time and bias to -3 step it will be terrific. Which was your metering mode?
I like all even the three has a til to the right that can be correcte, and a litle of re-composition with less first plane.

I like the second photo the best because of the people.
They are a bit more prominent with just a little PSE work.

I just noticed that your shutter speed on this was 59 seconds. Really!
In that case… truly an amazing shot.

Thanks Mandrake. Yes 59 seconds it was! I used cable release and camera on bulb mode. I set stop watch on my cell phone and once it was 59 seconds, I released the shutter.

Nice pics. One and two really stood out. Third one
a little overexposed but still pretty nice.
I’ve had lots of problems trying to get correct exposure
with night shots but will keep working at it lol.
