Mscharff,

Thanks for the feedback. This is something i struggle with when using wide angle lenses. wide angle at 19 mm( 1.6 cropped sensor) tends to distort things a bit and i straightened the light pole but in the process the tree became distorted. Any suggestions from others in the forum on how to deal with this is welcome

I tried several things with the image and it seems to come down to either a straight tree with no lamp post, or …
a straight lamp post with a leaning tree.  I chose the former.

It might as well be that the tree is growing this way. Look at the light poll on the right. It is perfectly strait. WHo do we trust more: humans who put the poll or the nature? LOL

It doesn’t matter if the tree is really leaning.
It looks better straight.
