Hi To All,

My name is Ian, I am 63 and live in Salisbury North, South Australia. I am married have four grown up kids and 4 Grandchildren. I took up DSLR photography Sept 2011 as I used to do some photography 30+ years ago for a short spell and have missed it. Since September 2011 I have been going flat out using my cameras and trying to assimilate all the information I can to help me improve. I am having a great time and take my camera nearly everywhere I go. I enjoy still photography and movie mode too.

The software I use are as follows for still photography:-
PS5, Lightroom 3, Serif Photoplus X5, Serif Panoramaplus X4, Ashampoo Photo Commander 10 and Ashampoo Photo Optimizer 5.
It may look like a lot of Software, but I have found that I use each and everyone for different reasons and convenience at times.

The software I use for video editing and dvd creation as follows:-
Sony Vegas Pro 11, Sony Movie Editor v11 Platinum, Serif Movie Plus X5, Nero Video 11, Ashampoo Burning Studio 11 and MSoft Movie Maker.

Please note that all Software I have shown is legitimate and paid for.

The following is what I have purchased, and believe me I use all of it quite regularly and I’m glad I was able to
finally have the money for my hobby. Bringing up 4 kids was a costly exercise, but worth it. LOL.

My System
A D7000 Body with the following Lenses
1x AF-S Nikkor 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED Vr

1x Tokina 100mm F2.8 Macro
1x Canon IXUS 220 HS Camera
1x JVC Everio Cam (30Gb Hard Drive)

Plus the following

1x SB-700 Speedlight Flash
2x H1 Zoom Recorders
1x Manfrotto Monopd
1x Weifeng WF-6662a Tripod (very Sturdy)
2x Lowepro shoulder bags (Flipside 400 AW + Slingshot 102 AW)
2x Spare Batteries EN-EL15
8x 32Gb SD Cards (Class 10) Patriot and Sandisk
2x 16Gb SD Cards (Class 10) Patriot and Sandisk
1x Boom Stand
1x 14.37″ Pro Shotgun Microphone for Nikon
Lens filters, 1 green and 1 blue backdrop

I also purchased the following Books
1x D7000 for Dummies
1x Nikon D7000 from snapshots to Great Shots (By John Batdorff)
1x Nikon D7000 Digital Field Guide (By J. Dennis Thomas)
1x Compact Field Guide for the Nikon D7000 (By David Busch)
1x Magic Lantern Guide Nikon D7000 (By Simon Stafford)

Plus Bought on the web 3 Tutorial DVD’s for the DSLR by Karl Taylor
