Hello from the Great White North! | Tell us about Yourself | Photo Forum

Just rolled out of my igloo, fed my pet penguin, jumped on my polar bear and headed to the ONE computer in town! Yes im from Canada! That frozen tundra above the US of A.  Brrrr its cold… lol.

Have been just starting to watch the video lessons on youtube to delve a little deeper into my photography hobby. Currently living in Guelph, Ontario Canada, I started getting more and more interested in capturing the priceless moments my one and two year old boys were providing me daily. As with most beginners im sure, I couldnt get things to work quite right in low light and I did a preliminary google search to find out what I could do better. Couple years and a few hundred pictures later, I have decided to really pursue photography as a hobby. 

Currently my equipment isnt top notch but id like to “master” what I have. Bought a Canon SX210S because of the 14x zoom. Not quite sure if I am ready (emotionally (lol) and financially) to make the leap into the land of the SLR. Look forward to browsing and hopefully adding to this forum.
