This is of the opposing team’s goalie stopping a shot, but I thought it was a cool shot…  Was taken with a D600 and a 28-300 zoom at 250mm  1/400, ISO 320, F5.6goalie.jpg

Great action shot, Michael…
It appears that the only part of the player’s body touching
the field is his left hand.  Perfect timing on your part.
(And his for that matter.)

Was this a single shot… or did you capture it in burst mode?

I do burst for most sports shots, but this one was a single shot as I moved the camera as the ball was shot and just happened to get this…
