It seems that we can no longer edit previous postings made before the latest forum change.
Is this the case, or am I missing something?

I’m usually missing something… if only I knew what it was…

You should be able to edit your own post! You can’t now?

I am able to edit very recent posts.  Those made in the past week or so.
Any attempt to edit older posts just brings me back to the original post when
I click on the “edit” prompt.

I wished to edit my posts which linked to flickr as they have changed the way
someone can view EXIF data.  My instructions in the posts now do not work
so I wished to change them.

It is not all that important to me, so do not go to a lot of trouble.

Sorry of rate reply.

This is strange. I have is set that Member “can edit own posts forever”. I will check with developers. Thanks for letting me know.

Editing prior posts works fine for me (for recent and older posts). After clicking the Edit button, the screen flashes. Then make sure you scroll to the bottom of the screen to see the Edit section.

Thanks, Wattage, for letting us know.

Mandrake, how does it work for you?

As I stated before, my inability to edit posts only related to those of several months back, not to recent postings.

Wattage’s first post was on June 3rd, so the problem would not have affected him.

Anyway… I have checked again and now all seems to be working.
