Very interesting photo Mandrake. I like the composition, all geometrical shapes and lines. I also like the fact that it looks like silhouette.

I would try to make it into square format so – maybe clop a bit from the the left and add to the top

Good idea.  Easy to do.  Thanks.
(love the “clop” a bit.)

Roofer – squared.  Ya think?
I’m kinda liking the balance in the original.

I really like this image. Looks like it was assembled in miniature,

backlit and shot from a tripod a few feet away.

Mandrake – Didn’t know you had a 300mm. Did you recently get

one for your D5100?

If so, how do you like the quality of the lens?

Dale.

Dale… lol… I’ts a real roofer on a real roof.
He’s balanced on the ridge and bending over to pick up the package of roof shingles.

I waited for him to fall, but he didn’t. (not nice to say, I know.)

I’ve always had a 55-300 zoom.  It came with the kit along with the 18-55.
I purchased the 35mm prime and just recently the 50mm 1.8 to complete the set.

I am totally satisfied with all of the lenses.

Sailor…. I’m happy that you like it and WELCOME to our forum.
Please post often. We would love to see your work.

Oksana…. Have you decided if you prefer the squared or the original?
