But……….. It is a cool look.

I’m assuming this was with the self-timer and a pod.
If so, you got yourself in position well. 10 sec.?

Mandrake…. I personally don`t like my eyes on pictures coz its very small in size ……and ya i used 10 sec and a pod.

To me you have a kind of tense, posed look.
If I was you I would either have someone else take
the picture, or, take a few to self critique and then make adjustments and
post what you think represents the true you. Will tell
you man – I admire you for letting it all hang out for
us to pick apart.

I agree with Mandrake, I would lose the shades. Of cause it all depends what you are going for, but in most situations it all about the eyes, they are usually a focal point. Try to play with different lightening situation. Strait on flash is not your best option. I would anchorage everybody to take their own pictures and see if things are working or not. This way you become better in photographing others. I will make a video about self portrait very soon.
