This is a photo I took about 43 years, I have always like it but the sky is washed out and uninteresting. I use photoshop to change out the sky with a sunset I took the other day and gave the entire photo a HDR look. Here are the before and after shots.CVA11org-1.jpgCVA61F4-1.jpg

very cool… the background looks unnatural, but it makes the shot stand out.

Yes… I do like the “unnatural” and dramatic look of the sky.
A perfect image for the cover of an old time adventure comic book.
And… I do mean this in a nice way.

my only other suggestion would be that you erase the other planes in the background of the original photo as this will make the focus plane stand out even more… as Mandrake says IMO :-)

I normally don’t like over processed images but that works perfect.

I like the first shot with vintage theme….it seems as if the jet is from World War 1 or 2.Smile

Most WWI planes had two wings.
The first operational jet fighter was the Messerschmitt 262 which debuted in 1942 during WWII.
(It didn’t look anything like this.)
