There is a serious clown shortage in the United States.
The number of clowns has dropped by over 30% during the past decade.
This is primarily due to one fatal car accident.

“Off Topics – In this section you can discuss all other topics, even the one which are not photography related.”
Also… It amazes me that so many people do not get this joke.  I was rolling on the floor.

It’s a very old and long running circus act.
A tiny car pulls up to the center ring and a whole bunch of clowns begin climbing out of the car.
This goes on and on with the audience amazed at how many clowns can fit in that tiny car.
By the end there are at least 100 clowns running around.

There really is a clown shortage today which was announced in the news.
The joke is… If there was only one fatal car accident (the car full of clowns) it would result in a clown shortage.

Mandrake
That one I got before I read your explanation and I thought it was damned funny too!
By the way – you really don’t have a shortage of clowns…just go to Washington and you’ll
find plenty there.
We have them here too…ours live in Ottawa.
The ones that are still in training live in all 10 provinces and are working hard to make idiots
of themselves so that one day they too may have a seat in our capital.
Dale.
