These pictures are from Historic Kailua Village (Kailua-Kona), The Big Island Hawaii, USA. It is a lively seaside town in the heart of the sunny Kona Coast.

It’s great to see some of your pictures. I somehow missed them on my first go-through of the topics. Love the colors…. did you enhance in post-processing? If not, I would love to know your Nikon Picture Control settings in the camera.

I would do some PS work with the second photo. Maybe remove the phone/electric wires and perhaps straighten the building with the distort tool as you demonstrated in one of your videos.

Good points, Mandrake! Removal the phone/electric wires and perhaps straighten the building can improve the second picture!

Yes I enhanced the photo in Lightroom. I always shoot Raw. To my eye almost all Raw images need some kind of enhancement (more contrast, vibrance), because they haven’t been processed by the camera as Jpegs.

1st and 2nd shots are good! I agree with Mandrake about getting rid of the wires would make the pic more attracting!!!Smile
