This is nice, sam.
I played a bit with it in PSE, trying different perspective corrections.
Buildings are tough straight out of the camera.

Are the lights just for Christmastime, or are they on all year?

Thanks for your comments Mandrake.
Actually this snap was taken during the festival “Fetes des lumieres” (Festival of lights) which is celebrated every year in December, to express thanks to mother Mary for saving the city “Lyon” from grave plague in 14th century. Then the decorations were with candles and now advanced laser lights took their place.
It was too crowded over there i was in the middle of thousands holding my camera to capture all the possible shots during the show.
I will post other snaps of the same cathedral that i captured during the show in another post

This is beautiful cathedral. So many details. I kind of want to see the whole building.
