Some interesting clouds and colours of the night.
1. Fisherman’s Wharf
2. Undersea Gardens – Closed it’s doors today after 50 years in business.
3. Harbour Lights – Before the fog.
4. And then the fog started to roll in – 5 minutes after this shot was taken you
couldn’t see anything but haze and my camera was getting soaked from the
   thick mist!DSC_4338.jpgDSC_4104.jpgDSC_4371-2.jpgDSC_4419.jpg

I really like the first shot Dale… the sky looks very cool.  I might consider removing the crane in the background…

Yes, the first is beautiful.  I still, however, get a bit muddled with the reflections.

So… I’m preferring the last, cropped to remove the restaurant/casino/bordello, or whatever it is.
Placing the mast of the foreground sloop on the one/third line does the trick for me.

Nice shots, Dale.

I like the first shot as almost everything seems to be perfect.

The reflection is nice and crisp..the sky looks as if its gonna rain soon.

I m amazed to see that the water is always stagnant …and the reflections come out to be great.

Good set of shots Dale.Smile

I totally agree with all of your comments! I also like the first shot
over the others and am going to work on it and print it to see how
it looks.
Thanks for the input guys – Sam – long exposures tend to smooth out
imperfections and I’m grateful for that because my shots are anything
but perfect. That’s why I’ve taken to night photography and spend a lot
of time in post processing.

I’m grateful to the gang at Adobe for letting people like me create images
that are not too bad following a lot of time adjusting for mistakes corrected
prior to posting.

Dale, all are great shot, I liked the 1st one very much.

I love the “night photography”, but it requires more time and patience to turn out the crystal clear and beautiful images.

Well done Dale
