This is my second try on night shooting, pic taken at CLARKE QUAY in SINGAPORE. I began to enjoy night photography……

Awsome shot Dude….I would love to gve ur settings a try on nikon D3100….Hope it will work….Still struggling to finf the right setting for night shot…

Josh, Try this for your night shots:
– Find the place with some light (street lights, windows of the buildings…).
– Put camera on the tripod (on something you can find to put it on, if you don’t have a tripod)
– Use cable relies or timer
– Use manual mode
– Set ISO to 100
– Set Aperture to F8 or F11
– Shatter Speed to about 10 sec (or as meter tells you). Take a picture and see if it is too dark or too light. If it is too dart user slower shatter speed – like 20sec for example. If the picture is too light use faster shatter speed – like 5 sec fro example. Try to take a few pictures with different shatter speeds and see what you like better

Thanks all for the compliments. In the pass, I used to take photo on auto mode and just aim and shoot with no expectation on my picture as long as it is clear, from easy exposure I have gained a lot of photographer knowledge and also increase my desire to learn more further. Thanks to Oksana.
