Iam a Newbie to the DSLR world, i just brought a new camera (Nikon D5100) day before yesterday night and these are the pictures taken Yesterday night.
Plz Show me the correct way as i have no idea in photography. The only idea i have got is from Youtube and Oksana`s channel.

these are some pictures taken with different ISO , Shutter speed and Apprature .
PIC 1
(no flash , focal length 18mm, F/5.6 ,exposure time 1/4 sec, ISO-200, Mettering mode Pattern, Exposure program Aperture priorty, Expsure CompenSation 0step )

PIC 2
(no flash , focal length 18mm, F/5 ,exposure time 1/3 sec, ISO-800, Mettering mode Pattern, Exposure program Unknown ,Expsure CompenSation 0step )

Hello Shajil. Welcome to our currently rather small group.
Your photos are quite nice and I wish you good luck with your new d5100.
It is the camera that I use as well.

As you posted three times, I can only assume you were unsure if the posting had been recognized.
It had. It takes a very long time for postings to be seen; a problem we have been assured is being addressed.

You include “Burj khalifa” in the title. I have searched and do not find it in the photos.
Do you live in Dubai, or were you visiting?

Welcome to Easy Exposure. The pics you posted are really good for a first effort.
I would probably “fine tune” them a little in post processing but if these are right
out of the camera both you and the camera did really well.
Good exposure on night photography can be tricky so congrats on a job well done.

Oh thank you very much for the appriaction, yes it took so long to upload the image and i click 2 times more, sorry for double posting, and dint find to del the other post.

@Mandrake yes i live in Dubai . yes i had the compleate pic of burj khalifa but unknowing i del it and just the base i had in camera so posted it. i will be posting Compleate burj dubai image soon . i was eager to show my pics to u Pro people and know ur comments .

I like the first photo. The curvy leading line and reflections in the water.
The second picture I would frame a bit different. I would leave more room above the building and include less water.
