Here is a view we all like to see – Geese leaving Victoria to go
and use somewhere else as their bathroom!
They cover everything here and as we live in Canada and they
are Canada Geese we have to put up with it.

Nice shot Dale, but if these geese are headed to Long Island, they can turn around and go right back to Canada where they belong.

If they are headed to Long Island OPEN FIRE on them.
The things are nothing but trouble up here. They have to be
the messiest damned birds on the planet!
Only way I would like to see one is served piping hot as goose dinner!

Unfortunately the pic is slightly cropped due to a building
on the left that distracted from what I wanted the shot to
look like.
I didn’t see them until they were almost directly overhead so
I just took a chance to see if I could get anything useable.
Thanks for the input. Tell everyone you know to have a goose
dinner at least once a week – preferably a CANADIAN goose dinner!

Thanks for the comment – I got lucky and my lens co-operated and
did a good job of quick focus to let me save this shot.
I could have probably posted as I shot it if I was using a longer lens
but @35mm and the geese quite high up I felt that a little cropping
would clean the shot up and make the birds appear larger.
And like you, I too almost always crop the photo to some degree if
it produces a more pleasant image.
Dale.
