Thanks, Michael… Too bad about your weather.
Long Island had quite a storm last night.
Me… not so bad, but a town a few miles east received over 11 inches.

Anyway… back to the moon.  If you have trouble finding the Man in the Moon, here he is.
I guess if this is a Super Moon this must be Superman.man-in-the-moon.jpg

And, I suppose you don’t believe in the Tooth Fairy either.

Oh c’mon, dont’ be silly.  How else does the money get under the pillow and the tooth disappears.  You can’t explain that.  the only logical reason is the tooth fairy.  Sheesh.

Great shot. was the image cropped? i took a snap with my 200 mm lens one time and could not fill the frame the way you have with 300. i thought i would have needed a 500 mm lens ( for 1.6 cropped sensor camera)

regards,

Rama

Rama… Yes, the image was cropped, but only to a 1:1 ratio.  Any more would have sacrificed detail.
At a focal length of 200mm a 1:1 crop would be smaller, but certainly acceptable for web use.  Try it and see.
(Nikon DX cameras have a 1.5 crop factor.)
