1. Windsurfer enjoying the day.
2 & 3. Let’s get a little closer to the sail.
4. Mom & pop seagull posing for tourists…”say cheese”.
5. A serene shot of a daffodil to end the day.IMG_0426.jpgIMG_0376.jpgIMG_0377.jpgIMG_0199-2.jpgIMG_0273-3.jpg

Nice Shot, i like the most the last one, can i know what is the background in it, it is clear that you used a shallow depth of field,

Very nice shots, Dale.
No need to buy a telephoto, just carry both cameras.
Very Pro thing to do.

1. Salish Sea or Strait of Juan de Fuca? How exactly does one pronounce Juan de Fuca?
Horizon…. I dropped an Elements line and it’s……………………… not at all bad.

2 and 3. Ocean Rodeo Sports Inc. in Saanich, BC thanks you.

4. Conspiratory gulls. I’d keep an eye on these two.

5. Not an Easter Lily, but close enough.

Glad you guys liked the shots.
Sam – I always try to post shots that
are relatively well focused so thank you for
those positive comments!
Samer H – This shot was taken against a dark
and shaded background with the sun shining quite brightly
on the daffodil only. Settings: ISO100 @ 185mm f stop 6.3 @ 1/400sec.
Mandrake – You know more about this area than I do and I’ve lived here
all my life lol!!! Juan de Fuca pronounced like Juan Valdez the coffee guy.
Fuca pronounced like f-you-ca. I live in Saanich so maybe I’ll pay Ocean Rodeo
Sports a visit and show them the pics. The gulls do look a little sinister on closer
inspection come to think of it. Not an Easter Lily and I tried but couldn’t find an Easter
Bunny in the park either! Not even an Easter egg – damned kids scooped them all
up real fast…Dale.Frown
