A couple of ducks taken on a miserable grey day.
An early morning moon shot and a pair of friendly
mushrooms.IMG_7772-7.jpgIMG_8090.jpgIMG_7820-2.jpgIMG_8118.jpg

Nice shots, Dale.
The mushroom photo needs a caption, but I can’t think of anything clean enough.

Thanks for the comments. I actually shot the pic of the
mushroom @ 220mm f8 1/500th second.
I was using a 70-300mm telephoto with a Canon Rebel.

It’s a mother/son bonding between two mushrooms.

Great pics ….but in the second pic i personally think that the light is dull as the duck is black in color and the background is bit dark too!!Smile

Awesome pictures. Love the ducks.

Although I can’t stand mushrooms…are they plant? are they animal? no one knows what is going on there. And they just keep showing up. Like an invasion.

That being said. Cool ducks.

Thanks for the comments!
Sam – It’s a goth duck taken on a dark night
in the moonlight.
I named the mushrooms Burt & Ernie – now it’s
up to you to decide what’s going on here!

Samerh
Thank you for those comments – appreciate them.
The mushroom shot was easy. I kneeled down and
framed it in the viewfinder and set to: f.l.of 220 f8 @ 1/500th.
Even at f8 by taking the pic at a focal length of 220mm the
background softened pretty well.
The tree is near my balcony and the moon seemed to be in
the right place at the right time to make an interesting shot.
The sky was a deep color too so it worked out OK.
Dale.
