beauty of flower…….

settings 1/125 sec F 7.1 and Iso 400 and @ 300 mm.

Nikon D 7000 and 55 mm-300 mm Nikon lens

my focus was get the sharp image…… i tried many settings…… finally i got this one……. hope you guys will comment on it…….. and please tell me if i can improve more on sharpness……..Confused

Great shot, Intekhab.
I also have the 55-300 and use it all the time.

I think the sharpness is fine.
At 300mm it is difficult to avoid motion blur or camera shake,
especially at a relatively slow shutter speed of 1/125 sec.
Did you try doubling the ISO with a shutter speed of 1/250 sec.
It might have made things sharper, but with a bit more noise.

Thanks Mandrake…… I think i did not….. used the setting of 1/250….. but i will surely try next time i will keep it in my mind……

do u have any supper wide angle lens…….? ? ? can u suggest one for me i have D7000 Nikon…… dx body…Wink

I use my kit 18-55 @ 18mm so can’t really give you a personal recommendation.

Vibrant colours!
If I was to do anything different I would
actually soften it a little, or tone down the
intensity of the colour slightly.
It’s a nice shot and you did achieve the sharp
image you desired.
Did you use a tripod @ 1/125 and 300mm?
