If I was to do anything different I would
actually soften it a little, or tone down the
intensity of the colour slightly.
It's a nice shot and you did achieve the sharp
image you desired.
Did you use a tripod @ 1/125 and 300mm?

I use my kit 18-55 @ 18mm so can't really give you a personal recommendation.

I also have the 55-300 and use it all the time.

I think the sharpness is fine.
At 300mm it is difficult to avoid motion blur or camera shake,
especially at a relatively slow shutter speed of 1/125 sec.
Did you try doubling the ISO with a shutter speed of 1/250 sec.
It might have made things sharper, but with a bit more noise.

my focus was get the sharp image...... i tried many settings...... finally i got this one....... hope you guys will comment on it........ and please tell me if i can improve more on sharpness........Confused
