The first one is just a pic of a parrot saying

hi to everyone from Victoria and the second

one of a parrot (believe it or not) digging a hole

with it’s beak that is going to be its future nesting

spot.

They say that parrots live a long time – well, I think

this one was around in the 60’s and was heavy into

the recreational drug scene – brain damaged now and

thinks its a groundhog or something!

I don’t think the first one is “saying hi to everyone”.  I think he’s saying “Come any closer and I’ll poke your f___ing eye out!”

And Dale…. what’s wrong with being a groundhog?  I was a groundhog the other day (yes, drugs were involved) and
it was a lot of fun.

btw…. Nice shots.

Mandrake

You could be right about that parrot!

They say that it does bite (so does the one in the

lower pic) so I guess if I go back I’ll stay back a couple

of feet.

Eric – Thanks for the comment – I had to crop the hell out

of that shot because a lot of people were in the way so I

think I was lucky to get a decent result. Would much rather

have been closer but that wasn’t going to happen.

Dale.

Lovely subject and good composition. I just would suggest to brighten images a bit in post. I seams a bit underexposed to me. Just try and you’ll see what colors will pop more.

Thanks for the comments Oksana. You’re absolutely right about

the second shot being too dark.

Dale.
