A great lens and has dropped in price by $300 or more since I bought
mine.

Same thing is happening with my 5100 now that the 5200 is out. Rats.

Check out Ken Rockwell’s site on the Nikon D5200.
One of his top pics is the D5100 because it’s a great camera.
I agree with you on buy a second lens – would rather do that
over buy a new camera body.
