I found this jumping spider in my back yard, I was very lucky to get couple of shotsJumping-Spider.jpg

 

before he jumped away.

I used a Canon EFS 55-250 lens with a 21mm extension tub.

Nice shot.  After the spider was zoomed in and became bigger than his actual size, it looks more scary on big computer screen.

Justin,

A good shot with a great depth of field for a macro shot. Which end of the zoom did you use? 55 or 250 mm. With a 50 mm lens you would be within a cat’s whisker off the subject and at times i have scared the subject away when i have tried to get that close.
