I like the second shot more than the first shot..
In the first shot the focus is not on the yellow flower as you intended it to be,,..
But its on the pink flowers in the background…
So i m happy with the second shot in which the flower is in focus and is composed nicely”

Thanks for the input.

Yes the yellow flower in the top is out of focus. I was playing with the manual focus (still trying to get the hang of it) and I thought I had it. Even though I didn’t, I really like the colours.

I am quite pleased with how the second one came out.

The colours are great and the 2nd shot is well focused
and composed.

Hello, for the first there is too much light in the background and there is not a good focus on the flower. But for the second, it’s a good composition with good colours and the light is perfect with a black background. With the flowers try to put a black background when you can, it’s the best for me. Look the difference with the first picture. Congratulation Brian.

Prabhu, you could have created your own topic for posting your shots.
Never mind, the shot is nice but i would really like to see that flower from closer (if possible try to get a shot from centre front of the flower).
And there are some grains at the right side end.
The bokeh is nice and did you crop the original image?

Thanks for the comments Sam. I was not aware that I could really create a post.. :)
I didn’t crop this image.. this is the original size.. the grains are due to my poor post processing…..:)
Thanks.
