Nikon D5100, 300mm, f/5.6 (wide open), 1/40 sec. (hand held), ambient light, ISO-3200 (obviously necessary)

Thank you, Oksana. I’ts my favorite of the many that I’ve taken of her. As you know, the newer Nikons can really handle high ISOs.

You are right: the high ISO is now that big of the problem, as it was before and in the film days. And for some reason I don’t mind a bit of grain in this picture.

Both photos at 35mm, f/5, 1/60 sec., ISO 3200, flash
These were taken by my daughter. I’m sure she just had the camera set for Auto.
Sometimes “Green” is best.

I will refrain from making any comment about the first photo.
It speaks for itself.

Great set of pictures with wonderful expressions and colours.

Relly very nice all, you can make a fortune maken child picture in Lon Island , make a card with a grupo of children in front and telephone in the back, I garanty u will not time to cover all calls.
