Nice shot Mandrake. Your auto-focus points missed his 2 eyes. The shadow on the right side of his face ruined the image. I would have used the built in flash to scare away the shadow.

I love the story being told by his sister’s gaze at him.

It looks like you were up against some harsh conditions with these shots.

I think deensani makes a good point in using the flash to soften or eliminate

the shadows. I generally don’t use a flash but in a case like this I would probably

consider it. 

Your grandson looks to be a fine young man and obviously you are a proud grandpa!

It wasn’t a posed shot.  

The kid was walking off the field, I raised the camera and took the shot before he went past me.

He really is handsome and the focus is amazing.

I like this sport but haven’t got any chance to play at least once!!
