This was shot at the parents home in natural light with a reflector.  Thank goodness the mom had an overload of beautiful blankets and girly accessories. Their beautiful 4 year old dog was also the perfect model!  I used my D80 and 50mm lens.

Thank you so much!!  Since I was doing this for the experience, I didn’t charge them and I hired someone to do my photoshopping.  I’m hopefully, going to take a photoshop class in January, if it’s offered.  The girl who did my editing let me watch her and even let me video tape her.

If I wanted to pay the girl who did my photoshop editing, she could even totally change the baby’s hand in the last photo to make it look more relaxed, or fingers all curled together.  So cool!!

I really like the first two.  To be honest, I’m not sure that the last two are realistic.
I doubt that anyone would actually hold a newborn in this way.  It looks a bit dangerous.

I absolutely adore the first two pictures.  Gorgeous shots.  Top notch.  The baby is so adorable.  So is the dog.

Damn, I promised myself I would not get baby-fever again.  So damn cute.

I must agree , the first two shots are the best, especially one with a doggy. It’s just so adorable that makes me smile. Well done! For some reason I don’t have the same feeling from the last two.
