Daniela, if you could share with us where exactly those places are and maybe attach a google map as I showed in the video. I would love to go to Portugal one day. Thanks!

If you click on each photo title (the first title in blue), it will redirect you to flickr page where each photo is tagged on a map that appears on the right side of the monitor and you can zoom in or zoom out that map in order to see where in Portugal it was taken.

Thank you for your comments… of all of you guys.
The fountain photo has a lot of post prodution in comparision with the original image, and I don’t mind at all sharing this info with you:
Basically, I’ve lowered the contrast more than 50%, bring up a little bit the shadows, reduced the clarity, add 34% of vibrance in overall colours, to bring up the clouds. In HSL I saturated the blue the more I could giving some fantasy look but without killing the picture. Those settings are not by order (I don’t remember the history but putting those settings in different order give different results of course).
The most important: shot always in RAW.

About the story: This photo was taken during a medieval fair, there is a lot of movement and there are actors on the streets simulating a medieval enviroment, performing everywere.

Sorry, Daniela, I thought you would understand as I’ve been teased so much about it here.
The fountain is not straight.

When taking shots where it is important that a subject be dead straight I usually try to leave enough space
to straighten if necessary without having to crop too much of the photo.
I tried, for my own benefit, to straighten the fountain image, but unfortunately, the photo lost too much.

Daniela,
thank you for detailed explanation.
I’m amateur, I do not play with post production a lot (just not enough time).

best regards
B.S.E.

lol mandrake, I didn´t understood at first, shure the photo is a little bit tilted to the right, have to take more care with this next time. In this particular case, the lens distort a little, maybe distortion correction will work, because I had to choose by tilting the fountain or the building on the right, and I guess at the moment I experimented tilting the building and it looked worst (the City Hall) Cheers Laugh

Brian… I’ve seen these before on your flickr page, but it was a pleasure to see them again.
Great series.
