I liked 1 &4 the best… though #1 may look good in B&W and #4 in HDR well…

Oksana… You must really do some detective work.
A hint…. Your gold rush played an important role in it’s history.

Oh Mandrake. I always know that I can trust you on this! You must have been a spy in the past? Wink

The Eagle should lead the way.
It did for me.

Mandrake…is there an error in the stitching?

If you look at the I in BUILDING and in the archway underneath there looks to be a stitching error.  Although this could be what the kids today are called ‘noveau architecture’.

I was just curious actually.

Brian…
This was a game that we were playing… After Oksana asked, I was able to deduce in which town
these shots were taken and attempted to provide some hints.
The image above is a screen capture that I took from “street-view” in Google Maps.
The distortion in the word “Building” is Google’s fault, not mine.

btw… The city is Oroville, California.
It was fun to do a bit of research on it.

I was able to identify the town by Googling “F O E 196 2010”, information taken from
silentotto’s third image.  Otto has remained silent during all of this.

Mandrake – Nice work. Didn’t think to Google any of the info given on the images.
