My first “real” camera was this Pentax film model.
It turned up while looking for something else.
Think it’s from the mid ’80’s and the unopened film
package has a development date no later than July ’97.
So much for that lol.

Nice camera…and huge lens on catalog…2000mm what is it for? astro photography? Like a lot the close up acessories to separate the lens elements I guess, for magnification. That roll of Kodak film for me is recent, I remember it very well, it’s for 36 photos in 200 ISO or ASA good for outdoor with less grain. There are very common in Europe, like the fujifilm. And about your lens? Is it 50mm fixed lens with apperture ring. Thanks for sharing. :)

Daniela
You are exactly right – it is a 50mm fixed lens!
Uses for a 2000mm lens? I can only think of astro
photography but @ f13.5 you would be waiting a long
time to gather light from distant objects. You would have
to mount it on a tracking device.
Thanks for the comments – Finding that old camera really
did bring back some fond memories and I still have a few
pictures that were taken with it.
