These pictures I made in the butterfly garden in Artis. This zoo is located in the center of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. The butterflies fly freely in an indoor garden around you. For some pictures, you must have patience and really does take 10 minutes before you made the picture. But the results are impressive. A paradise of butterflies for the photographer.DSC0206-1.jpgDSC0218-1.jpgDSC0227-1.jpgDSC0233-1.jpgDSC0240-1.jpgDSC0251-1.jpgDSC0267.jpgDSC0274.jpg

A very nice set, Mick.
I particularly like the wing pattern of the butterfly in the sixth photo.
I might rotate the image and remove the white line.  You could try and see if you like it.

I have to ask about the heels logo.
I have a thing for three-inch spikes.

Excellent shots Mick.

your patience has given you a good result.

Very impressive. What lens did you use for these shots?

Hello Jaydev, Im sorry that i am a little late. these pictures all made with a Nikon 55-200mm lens These pictures are made at the butterfly garden in Artis Amsterdam but i am certainly go also to the butterfly garden in Rotterdam. Thanks for the comments. The heels logo Mandrake haha. I saw the picture on internet and i like it for using for my watermark. In the beginning i used also a eye picture. Which one you like the best??

MickD3200,

Some reason I don’t like this watermark. but again its purely personal opinion. I prefer to a small font size watermark, which should not distract the photo. anyway wait for expert opinion from other members.

again the above shots are excellent and would like to visit this place some stage.

regards

I have to agree with jaydev about the logos.  Both are distracting.

Go with just Mj_FoTo and maybe the copyright sign, if you want.

Mick

Go with the “keep it simple” suggestion on the logo.

Your pictures are great and that don’t want unnecessary distractions

to take away from them. When I looked at the images I felt like I was

taking pictures at Butterfly Gardens here in Victoria BC where I live.

Really nice shots and hope to see a lot more in the future.

I like the 7th and the 8th shot…

Nice focus on the butterfly in the 7th shot,..

In the 8th shot, i would like the butterfly to be in focus..but just the antennas and a half wing is in focus..

Good set of shots…Laugh
