During the past few days, we have been having extremely bad weather in my country. A cyclone was around and it ruined the new year festivities for most of us. I took a series of shots in black and white to express the gloomy atmosphere and I am sharing a few of those photos with you. I am still a novice and just trying to frame the feeling of these moments. I used a mix of black and white with sepia for some photos. If you wish to see the whole album, follow this link to my FB profile page.

As always, I welcome your comments/critics because it would contribute and enhance to my way of taking photos.

Happy New year & best regards

Rachid

Some fascinating photographs, Rachid, both here and on your facebook page.
I knew virtually nothing of Curepipe until today.  It is always good to learn of new places.

My favorite is the image of your kitchen sink with the single droplet at its faucet about to fall.
Photographs of inclement weather taken from the familiar protection of one’s home is always comforting.
