I was not intending to give this effect to this photo. I was just trying to catch up my wife in a narrow alleyway in venice, Just clicked this without even looking through view finder. It is out of focus, but works very well and gives a 3D effect.124.jpg

I like this picture. The contrast between te walls and the dress is very good. Love the motion in the picture. To bad your wife dosn’t have something without the motion blur. Strangly enough the pavement has a sharp area. Cant think of a way how you did that though.

Cool Photo, good idea. I would essume you were walking behind your wife while taking a pictures at shutter speed of about 1/15sec and this created a panning effect. Could you please post camera setting?
The only thing is I wish that at least something would be in focus.

Nice effect.
I’ll have to try a few shots at a slow shutter speed to see
if I can create something similar.
I’ve visited Italy and Venice was one of my favourite stops.
Would love to return one day!

Italy is, indeed, an interesting country to visit.

Many years ago, I debarked from my ship in Naples and a young man came up to me
and asked, “Want to buy a knife, Yank?’ A minute later another young man approached
and asked “Want to sleep with my sister? She’s a virgin.” I didn’t buy the knife.

Lol, Mandrake! I went to Italy too, but I didn’t get offers like that.
