Great image Brian. Looks like you are having fun with your new camera. It must have been windy. I see the movement in the trees. What was your shutter speed?

I shot it at f/32 at 1/8 of a second.  It was very windy unfortunately, but I didn’t care haha.  It was funny because a bunch of people were walking over the bridge while I was setting up, and they were watching me.  After the crossed they all came down to see what I was doing.  Had about 10 people gathered around when I clicked the shutter.  No one asked any questions or talked to me though, but it was nice to have some interest.

And right behind me was a 3 year old boy peeing on a tree.  Good thing I didn’t turn the camera around haha.

The undertow of the Grand River is extremely dangerous.  Despite all of the warnings, many people still die every year being carried away underwater.  Very sad really.

Nice BW. Great format. Maybe the “movement” of the trees is because of the 1/8…

Oh yes, absolutely it was.  It was very windy so I am not surprised at all there is some leafy blur.

Next shot from the shoot…the Grand River Mill.  Not terribly sharp because the wind was pretty strong (almost knocked the camera over).  So am I am sure that is the cause.
