okay… when I tried this, when I went to distort using polar coordinates, there is a few degree gap where the two sides don’t come together… did either of you have this?  And if so, how did you eliminate?

thanks,
Michael

I’m seeing making a lot of these using familiar family and friends surroundings and people.
Then to circular crop and use as “balls” of various sizes to place on a photo of a spare Christmas tree.
This would make a memorable holiday card and all would try to recognize the locations and people depicted.

The left is a duplicate of the right.
Were you not able to fix the gap?

no… I did do it without but the sky was very different from one side of the shot to the the other and I didn’t like it… but I still have about a 1 degree gap when I do it that I have to fill in… not sure why or how to fix it.
