1/5th @ f/16…. interesting.
I assume the camera’s metering and suggested exposure settings work as usual,
so that there are no calculations necessary when using the filter.
Does the filter do anything in addition to allowing a slower shutter speed?
Addendum: OK, I looked it up. The filter also, logically, allows for larger aperture
sizes giving greater DoF which otherwise would not be possible.
I’m with Dale.. gonna buy one, or probably a few. I have both 52 and 58mm diameters.
And then there’s the question of how many stops.
I gotta go think about this.

This was done with a .9 (or three stop filter)… And no, i didn’t do anything other than put the camera on f16 and selected a shutter speed to get the correct exposure. Of course, now that I’ve tried this out, I’m thinking the 10 stop filter may be pretty cool as well and get some different results :-).
There are ND filters that can adjust, however, i read some bad reviews on them so I went with the more basic one…
