I took this on a week trip to the island of Mallorca in Spain.
Sorry Mandrake you will probably really hate what I did to the sea in this photo. :)

[url=Pier at Sunset]

Canon 450d
Canon EF-S 10-22 @ 10mm
Exposure 20 seconds
ISO 100
8 Stop ND filter

Probably a dirty sensor in this one too, but it was extremely windy and cold when I took this.

Actually Glenn, I like this image very much.
Perhaps it is sufficiently removed from reality.
The sky and sea are very much in harmony.

The pier appears to be in need of repair.
A very nice lesson in the use of ND filters.

Thanks Dale for the postive comments!

Jaydev : Yes that was the jet trail overhead but I never noticed it until after I had taken the shot.

Shooting 10mm with a Gorilla Pod my camera was right at the very edge of the water and I was keeping a constant eye in case there was a rogue wave coming to splash my camera. I took a few shots with the shoreline and without and decided without was the best.

Also I finally got around to getting rid of the few dust spots that I had on my sensor and have uploaded the changed photo now.

Glenn72, I think it is a beautiful image. Good use of ND filter. The lines created by the bridge kind of sucks you into the image. Good job!

Yes… as do the leading lines of the clouds and the jet trail.

Great pic…..if you could get another pic from beneath the bridge by keeping the bridge in the middle and the water beside on both sides….i would really like it! If you have it, plz post it….Smile
